The Threat to Our Health

We live in a world that is full of contaminates, things that hurts us. From heavy metals to manmade chemicals and toxins, our "body burden" is increasing.
Recent cable news special stated that of the 80,000 chemicals and toxins used in manufacturing and packaging today about 200 are known to be safe. Our bodies are becoming more and more a collection and storage system for these substances. What our bodies cannot expel it absorbs in fatty tissues and organs.
Mercury has been used for decades as a dental amalgam in teeth fillings. New studies reveal that the heavy metal we unquestionably have placed in our mouth has a degenerating effect on our brains.
Plastics are used all around us, from the products we buy to the food storage containers we use in our kitchens. Plastics over time and use may "leech" certain chemicals and toxins that further increase our body burden.
To maintain our health we have to be on a sustained program of supplements that remove the heavy metals and toxins that are slowly damaging our body's ability to fight off illness and disease. Removing the contaminates is the first step. The second step is to replenish the vitamins and minerals our lifestyles and environment is robbing our bodies.
The most effective supplements are liquid or water soluble capsules. Unlike pills, a portion of which may pass through the body as waste, these have an immediate impact in the digestive tract and blood system.
More importantly is to be informed. Products and services that were deemed safe are now showing evidence of uncertainty. With health care services moving towards a rationed system understanding our own health needs and taking care of them is the key to living a long and healthy life.
