Keep Weight Off While On Vacation!



Everyone is planning their winter holidays right now. Now, all-inclusive resorts are lovely, but remember that just because you CAN eat anything you want anytime you want doesn't mean you SHOULD. Does being on holiday mean you gain tons of weight and get out of shape so your trainer has to kill you when you come home? NO it does not. You can still exercise while away, so at least you can still zip up your pants by the time you come home. Don't laugh - I've had clients gain 10 pounds in one week while on vacation! Don't let it happen to you! Here's a circuit to do with absolutely no weights.
Do it 3 times a week while you're away. (That's only 3 hours of vacation time - you can handle it.) Repeat circuit three times for one total workout.
10 regular pushups, 10 as fast as you can
20 squats, 20 squat jumps
1 minute sprinting (on the beach is even harder)
50 sit ups or crunches
25 jumping jacks
20 tricep dips on a stair
10 lunges, 10 switch lunges (jumping lunges)
1 minute stairs or sprinting if there are no stairs
30 reverse crunches (on back, legs up, hips come up off the floor - use lower abs for the lift)
30 pushups against the wall
soccer kicks ( do a back lunge but bring the back knee all the way to the floor when you lunge back and when you come up, kick that leg up high) x 12
1 minute plank
There! Now you can come home looking fabulous! Have fun!
