Laugh More and Feel Better

Yes, I believe it's true, if you laugh more you will feel better, this has been proven scientifically time after time. If you stop for a minute and think of a time when you were feeling really good it was probably at a time in your life when you were with a friend or friends and you were laughing a lot.
When we laugh we trigger the release of endorphins which are the feel-good chemicals in the body. Not only that, but there are other health benefits to having a good sense of humor and enjoying a good laugh.
Doctors tell us that laughter boosts your immune system, relieves stress and helps to protect our hearts by increasing blood flow, which can help to prevent heart attacks and other cardiovascular diseases.
I recently read about a research study that was done at the University Of Maryland Medical Center by a certain Dr. Michael Miller, Director of the Center for Preventative Cardiology. In this study 300 volunteers completed multiple- choice questionnaires to determine their sense of humor. However 50 percent of the group was made up of people who had previously suffered a heart attack or had undergone coronary bypass surgery. The other 150 people did not have any heart disease.
This study showed that those people who had heart problems responded with less humor to everyday situations and they didn't laugh much at funny situations that were presented to them, whereas the group without heart problems responded with laughter at the same situations.
I have come to realize that people have different senses of humor. I have seen things that I thought were so funny that I would laugh till tears would roll down my cheeks, and be amazed that others were barely smiling.
On the other hand, slap stick comedy of the Three Stooges, I find to be only slightly amusing.
Although there are different kinds of humor, if they make you laugh you are going to feel better, and that is why I heartily recommend you visit: [http://www.Laffs4u.com], it's sure to have you laughing no matter what your sense of humor is like.
