How To Find The Right Hair Color For Your Hair

The majority of women color their hair at least once in their lifetime. Some women use hair color because they start to see the signs of grey hairs in the mix on their head, and some women change their color because they want to create a new look. Finding the right hair color is very important if you want to look as good as possible.
One problem with dying your hair is that you will have to continue to dye it as it grows out or get haircuts to get rid of the old portion that is colored. If future haircuts are not in your plans then do not start putting dye onto your tresses.
Choosing a hair color is difficult because you must stay with colors that are acceptable with your skin tone, or you will look unnatural. If you do not care whether the coloring looks natural, like maybe you want lime green hair with purple highlights, then go ahead and put any color in, but if you wish for people to think that the new color might be natural then consider your skin tone.
Darker skinned people naturally have darker hair colors. Black women do not have blonde hair, and Asian women are not born blonde, and Irish women are not born with black hair. So the darker your skin tone is, the darker your hair color can be. You want the color to be close to the same color as your eyebrows are.
Your hair should be almost the same color that your eyebrows are. You might have hair that is one or two shades lighter, or darker than your eyebrows, but generally not more than one shade difference. Remember this when you are selecting the color.
If you burn easily when you are out in the sun, or if you have freckles on your skin, then shades of red are going to look perfectly natural on you. If you have a lot of red in your hair naturally you will find that coloring your hair will require special treatment to cover up that fire. The red always seems to bleed through and show, no matter if you dye your hair darker or lighter.
Dark hair colors are best on dark skinned people, and people with dark eyes. You rarely see a person with blue eyes have black hair. Your eye color will give you away so try and match your skin tone, eye color, and hair dye, together.
The best tip for anyone wanting to change their appearance is for them to go only one or two shades lighter, or darker, than what they were born with. If you stay in the same color palette that you were born with you will look more natural, and it will be easier to hide the roots when they begin to grow out.
Changing the color to hide the grey should be done by trying to get colors that are as close to your natural color as possible.
