Goal Setting For A Healthier You Is a Useful Tool

Let us face the facts. Just about everyone needs to make goals when it comes to their health, nutrition, and fitness. There are a lot of out shape, overweight, and unhealthy people out there. A good way to achieving these goals is first making them. And, we aren't talking about unrealistic goals like achieving a body of a movie star, especially when we know of photo shop. We are talking about realistic achievable goals like; losing those extra pounds, maintaining a healthy diet, gaining muscle, being more active, goals that relate to the personal you. Setting and making goals are the best way to make progress a useful tool when it comes to your health. But, you got to have an award system to making this a useful tool. You got a lot to aim for especially when it comes to you.
How to set goals:
• Think of what you have to achieve and what you want to achieve. Talking about what you have to achieve as in; doctors' orders, do or die when it comes to your health. As for what you want to achieve fitting into that size 2 or seeing that muscle when you flex. I think you get the point.
• Make a priority list of everything you thought of, what you have to achieve and want to achieve. You will soon find out they most likely all can be achievable in the same way, through diet, and fitness.
• Now look at that list and figure out how you need to get there. Do you need to change your diet? Do you need to hit the gym or workout more? Whatever it maybe write it down too.
• Now to make your goals. It is easier to achieve your goals when there is not a number on the scale or in clothing to look at. To make your goals change into life changing events and more rewarding over time, look at the list of how you need to get to where you need or want to be health wise. Make your goals off that list. I will eat clean for 15 days no cheat days either. I will go to the gym 10 times in the next two weeks. You see, making life changes through your goals is what is going to help you achieve where you need to be and want to be.
Once you made your goals it is all about achieving them. Now for the rewards system when you finally achieve that goal. Rewarding yourself can be beneficial if you keep your mind set to your health and goals.
How to reward yourself:
• Do not reward yourself with something that is going to go against your goals. Like if you made a goal to eat clean for so many days. Do not go and reward yourself with a big mac. Probably would be a good idea to stray away with rewarding yourself with food period.
• Reward yourself with something that will be a good tool in helping you further achieves greater goals. Like a gym membership or a new piece of equipment. A new handy dandy notebook to write everything down from fitness to meals. New clothes might be in order because you have lost some weight. A nice little blender for your protein shakes.
• A good reward is always money; money can take you places and buy you tons of things. If some of your goals are not as far fetched as others reward yourself with some cash you can stash away so you can really reward yourself when you reach that goal that is even further away.
See, goal setting can be a very useful and free tool when it comes down to your health and fitness. And, you can make it so you can reward yourself in more than one way. You reached the goal what is a reward in its self and you can reward yourself again for reaching your goal. This can be a very effective system when it comes to reaching your ultimate health.
