On the other hand, calcium is a type of mineral that helps keep teeth and bones strong, Vitamin D helps promote calcium absorption, and magnesium is essential in the formation of teeth and bones. Food ingredients derived from animals such as milk, fatty fish (e.g. tuna, herring, salmon, sardines, etc), cod liver oil, and butter are also good sources of calcium, Vitamin D, and magnesium.
Additionally, the consumption of tea can also help in preventing tooth decay. This beverage is a good source of fluoride which can help strengthen the teeth. However, you are advised to drink unsweetened tea because sugar can cause caries.
