Medical causes may be diseases and ailments. These may not be directly connected to the sweat works but indeed these are factors. Extreme sweating can be a symptom of heart problems, diabetes, thyroid illness or cancer. Unless the body is checked for these diseases, these medical conditions may worsen the sweat malfunction.
Pharmaceutical drugs can be prescribed or not. Intake of some of these may not be good for people especially those who develop certain side effects. Sweating profusely while taking medications may be a sign of the body reacting badly to the drugs. Having a doctor that can check and prescribe what medicines are appropriate can lessen abnormal sweating for those afflicted.
